The shop and the pedigree
Teton Canyon Aviation is the Rock Springs home of a family of aviation businesses built over decades in the upper Midwest. Our affiliates include Twin Cities Aviation — an FAA Part 145 repair station and Cirrus Authorized Service Center since 1999 — plus AAC Engineering, Wichterman's Upholstery, and TC AirParts. Together, that network gives TCA access to maintenance, engineering, interiors, and parts depth while keeping the RKS shop conversation local.
AAC Engineering is a full-service professional engineering firm whose roots run deep in general aviation, business aviation, and FAR Part 121 airline operations, and whose standards travel with them into every industry they serve. Wichterman's Upholstery provides full-service custom interior work for aircraft of all sizes, and TC AirParts is a dedicated Cirrus parts operation with over 20 years supporting the SR20, SR22, and SR22T fleet.
Together, AAC Engineering and Wichterman's give TCA direct access to the engineering and certification expertise required for complex interior and structural projects — capabilities you won't find behind most regional shop doors. That network of certifications, deep inventory, and two decades of fleet experience stands behind every aircraft we touch at RKS.
Capabilities
The work starts with the aircraft, the records, and the squawks. TCA scopes each job in plain language before work grows.
Annual / 100-hour inspections, routine maintenance, and squawks.
Panel upgrades, troubleshooting, and testing.
Composite structure and finish repair coordination.
Interior refurbishment planning and coordination.
IFR-cycle certification testing.
Weight-and-balance support when the aircraft needs current data.
Part of a larger network
TC AirParts operates from the same hangar and is one proof point that TCA is new to Rock Springs, not new to aviation. The shop conversation stays broader than one aircraft type.

Why it works
Aircraft maintenance is skilled work, and skilled people deserve the right support. Over many years, we have built the tools, processes, and operational systems that help our team stay organized, informed, and focused on the aircraft.
The work starts with experienced people who know how to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft.
Planning, parts, records, scheduling, and communication are managed through systems built to support the work behind the scenes.
As part of a larger aviation organization, we can draw on experience, technology, and capabilities that are uncommon for an independent shop.
Our goal is simple: help good technicians do their best work and give owners confidence in the process.

Aircraft we work on
This is not a showroom story. It is the kind of work owner-flown aircraft actually need: technicians on the floor, records on the bench, parts being tracked, and a larger aviation operation supporting the shop behind the scenes.
The airplane is the center of the job. Our technicians work with the aircraft, the records, the inspection requirements, and the squawks in front of them - supported by systems built to keep the work organized.
Weather, schedules, parts, and return-to-service timing matter to aircraft owners. We manage the work with those realities in view.
We are focused on the airplanes people actually fly, maintain, travel in, train in, and depend on across this region.
Teton-Canyon Aviation is a small shop with backing behind it: aviation experience, parts knowledge, planning tools, workflow systems, and operational support.
Supported work, not guesswork.
Good technicians do their best work when the shop around them is organized. Our systems help manage parts, scheduling, records, communication, and return-to-service planning so the work stays visible and the owner is not left guessing.
